Krewe of Barkus & Meoux 2013 Pet Parade
Stars, Guitars & Animals from Mars Mardi Gras Pet Parade will be held Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Riverview Park at 601 Clyde Fant Pkwy. in Shreveport. Don't miss this chance for festive pets to celebrate Mardi Gras. Activities start at 1:30 p.m. Parade walks at 3:00 p.m.

Pre-registration is now closed. Registration the day of the parade is $20 for the first pet and $10 for each additional pet.

There will be prizes for the best dressed, best float, and pet/owner look-a-like will be given. Our royal court of pets will be presented at 2:30 p.m.

Additional chances for the Royal Raffle are $1 each. All pre-registered pets get one chance with paid registration. This is your chance to let your pet reign over their royal court!

Captain's Challenge
2009 Captain, Dr. Pamala Coker, issued a challenge to our community to participate in Trap-Neuter-Return of feral cats as advocated by Alley Cat Allies. We still believe in this cause and ask you to join us in our mission.
